About the Role
Step into a meaningful role as a Care Assistant, where you’ll deliver respectful, hands-on support that puts residents first. From personal care and daily tasks to mobility assistance, you’ll follow individual care plans with heart. Your person-centred approach will help create a friendly, nurturing environment that enhances quality of life and brings comfort every day.
What you'll do:
- Provide direct care to a designated group of residents under the supervision of a Clinical Leader and/or EN/RN
- Deliver care in alignment with individual care plans, in collaboration with the care leadership team
- Effectively communicate residents' care needs to the Clinical Leader and/or EN/RN
- Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive environment for both residents and staff
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to support effective teamwork
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and competency in delivering safe, high-quality care
What You'll Bring
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care, or an equivalent qualification
- A strong commitment to delivering person-centred care with empathy and compassion
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
