About the Role 

The Finance Manager plays a key role in leading Eldercare’s Finance Unit within the Corporate Services division. You will oversee financial compliance, reporting, cash management, and asset integrity, while guiding a team of accountants, revenue administrators, payable administrators, and finance officers.

This position is as much about people as it is about numbers. You will provide clear direction, support, and accountability to your team, encouraging a collaborative and high‑performing culture. At the same time, you’ll ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, effective cashflow management, and continuous improvement across finance processes.

Reporting directly to the General Manager Finance, you will work closely with the broader Finance team, Corporate Services Executive, and other stakeholders across the organisation.

 

What You Will Bring 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Accounting

  • Experience in a similar Finance Manager role

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Current driver's licence

  • Knowledge of the Aged Care environment and / or Retirement Living (desirable)

  • Knowledge of Epicor / Aurion / Riteq software (desirable)

  • CPA/CA post-graduate qualification (desirable)
