About the Role
As a Clinical Leader at Eldercare The Village, Maitland, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. Working closely with staff, residents, families, and allied health professionals, you will lead the assessment, planning, delivery, and monitoring of care services that optimise each resident’s quality of life.
This position is responsible for:

Leading clinical care delivery, including dementia and palliative care aligned with Eldercare’s standards.

Overseeing assessments and care planning to ensure individual needs are met and documented in line with accreditation requirements.

Providing mentorship and guidance to clinical and care staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring safe, compliant practice.

Collaborating with families through regular conferences, addressing concerns, and maintaining transparent communication.

Driving quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with Aged Care Standards, Work Health and Safety, and organisational policies.
What You Will Bring

Registered Nurse Level 2 with current AHPRA registration

Minimum 3 years’ senior clinical experience, preferably in aged care

Proven leadership and team mentoring capabilities

Strong understanding of care planning, accreditation standards, and clinical governance

Proficient in IT systems and clinical documentation
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

Passionate about person-centred care and continuous improvement
