Eldercare is seeking a passionate and experienced Wellbeing Consultant to lead our Lifestyle Team in delivering innovative, person-centred wellbeing and lifestyle services that truly make a difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role
Eldercare's model of care is shaped by our organisational wellbeing strategy, pursuing resident wellbeing through a focus on Good Health, Purpose, Connection, Activity and Dignity. Our Lifestyle program is integral to the pursuit of these resident outcomes, creating a culture of innovative practice, as we introduce measures to improve resident meaning and purpose, improve transition to care, and reduce loneliness.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will drive these practices at a site level through tailored programs and individual support plans. This is a leadership role that blends strategic thinking, hands-on program development, and team management — all within a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing team of lifestyle staff and volunteers to deliver outcome-focused lifestyle services.
- Partner with residents, families, and clinical leaders to co-design individualised lifestyle plans.
- Develop and evaluate site-based lifestyle programs that reflect residents’ preferences, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.
What You Will Bring
- Hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or have similar qualifications or equivalent experience
- Ability to effectively lead a dedicated team
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be committed to delivering person-centred care

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
As per Eldercare’s Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to:
- Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year
- Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines
Exemptions on a temporary or permanent basis can only be approved by Eldercare’s Chief Executive.
