About the Role 

Eldercare is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated team in Minlaton. In your role as the Enrolled Nurse In Charge, you’ll take the lead in overseeing care on-site, backed by the guidance and support of a Registered Nurse at our Maitland sister site. What you’ll do:

• Provide person-centred nursing care that supports residents’ wellbeing
• Guide and mentor Care Assistants in daily care delivery
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement best practice standards
• Work within the scope of your role, maintaining accountability for delegated care
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in line with policy and legislation
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health and functional status
• Contribute to care planning, documentation, and evaluation processes
• Ensure timely and accurate communication across the care team

What You’ll Need

• Working rights in Australia
• Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
• At least 6 months experience in Aged Care as an Enrolled Nurse
• Ability to work independently and autonomously as the In Charge nurse on site
• A genuine passion for providing person-centred care
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Enjoy building positive relationships with residents their families and staff
