About the Role 

  • As a Resident Mobility Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our residents’ physical wellbeing and quality of life.
  • Working alongside our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Wellbeing Consultants, you’ll help residents engage in meaningful movement and achieve their reablement goals.
  • From one-on-one support to group activities, you’ll assist residents in accessing indoor and outdoor spaces, participating in events, and building social connections that enrich their daily lives.

What you'll bring:

  • Possess a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, Health & Leisure or Ageing Support or Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • A genuine passion to provide care that is person-centered
  • The ability to work individually and in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enjoy building positive relationships with residents and staff

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.

As per Eldercare’s Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to:

  • Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year
  • Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines
