About the Role
Step into a rewarding role where your expertise as a Dietitian truly makes a difference. You’ll deliver tailored nutritional assessments and interventions for residents across multiple Eldercare sites, working within a large, collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Partnering closely with our nursing and hospitality teams, you’ll champion best-practice nutritional care, contribute to quality assurance initiatives, and directly influence the health and wellbeing of our residents. Beyond clinical care, you’ll be a passionate advocate for good nutrition, engaging with residents, families, and staff to shape services and empower informed food choices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide expert, personalised nutritional assessments and interventions that reflect each resident’s unique needs and preferences
- Share your knowledge by delivering engaging training and educational resources to residents, families, and Eldercare staff under the guidance of our Senior Dietitian
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships across the multidisciplinary team and with external partners to ensure seamless, holistic care
- Champion best-practice nutrition aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation to support outstanding resident outcomes
- Uphold the highest professional standards by practicing in accordance with the Dietitians Australia Code of Conduct for Dietitians and Nutritionists
What You Will Bring
- Be an Accredited Practising Dietitian and be eligible for full membership with Dietitians Australia (new graduates are encouraged to apply!)
- Bring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life
