About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated team in Maitland. You’ll be part of a tight-knit crew delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in a beautiful rural setting. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment with variety, autonomy, and the chance to build strong relationships with residents and staff.
What you’ll do:
- Provide person-centred nursing care that supports residents’ wellbeing
- Guide and mentor Care Assistants in daily care delivery
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement best practice standards
- Work within the scope of your role, maintaining accountability for delegated care
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in line with policy and legislation
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health and functional status
- Contribute to care planning, documentation, and evaluation processes
- Ensure timely and accurate communication across the care team
What You’ll Need
- Working rights in Australia
- Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
- At least 6 months experience in Aged Care as an Enrolled Nurse
- A genuine passion for providing person-centred care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents their families and staff
