Shifts: Every Saturday & Sunday - 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm (timing negotiable)

As part of our vibrant Wellbeing & Lifestyle Team, you’ll help create moments that matter for our residents, enriching their lives through meaningful engagement and heartfelt connection. Step into a role where every day offers the chance to make someone smile. As a Lifestyle Assistant, you’ll work alongside a passionate team to deliver leisure experiences that uplift and inspire.
What you’ll be doing:
- Spark joy by enhancing resident participation in lifestyle programs tailored to their interests and abilities
- Help plan and lead engaging group activities—from sing-alongs and games to themed events and celebrations
- Collaborate with the Wellbeing Consultant to design and evaluate experiences that foster connection and purpose
- Support residents to participate as independently as possible, always prioritising their comfort and dignity
- Maintain leisure equipment, set up engaging spaces, and promptly report any changes in participation to the Registered Nurse
- Mentor and support volunteers and students, helping build a culture of warmth, inclusion, and shared purpose
What You'll Bring
- Hold a qualification related to leisure, health or community services (or be in the process of obtaining)
- Experience in planning and facilitating recreational and leisure pursuits, including themed events and functions
- Specific experience in working with Older People
- A genuine passion for enhancing wellbeing and creating meaningful moments
- A warm, energetic presence and a commitment to compassionate care
