About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Service Resourcing, you will oversee the equitable and efficient deployment of the operational services workforce, optimising staffing across available shifts to ensure excellence in service delivery to our residents within all Eldercare residential care facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and oversee rostering for site-based care, allied health, lifestyle, and hospitality teams
  • Ensure staff are scheduled efficiently, fairly, and within budget and compliance parameters
  • Maintain data integrity within the rostering system and align with industrial and legislative requirements
  • Collaborate with the Systems Information Services team to optimise rostering outcomes
  • Ensure sites are staffed with the appropriate skill mix to meet operational KPIs
  • Promote a high standard of service by fostering clear, timely communication across all levels of staff regarding roster coordination

What You Will Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or HR Management or a related field, or equivalent experience in similar role
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce a range of high-quality written material
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to assess, prioritise and deliver to the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, 24-hour staff rosters highly regarded
  • Familiarity with rostering software such as Humanforce or equivalent systems
