We are seeking a passionate and driven Project Officer to work closely with and support Project Managers, the Business Change Manager and various stakeholders across the business. This role offers hands-on experience, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to advance into project management positions. Your contributions will be essential in driving projects to successful completion, deepening your understanding of project management processes, and enhancing your leadership capabilities.
The role will provide essential administrative support to the PMO, ensuring smooth and efficient operations as well as assist in implementing change management strategies, facilitating seamless transitions and adoption of new processes.
With no two days the same, you will assist in preparing and maintaining project related documentation, including sourcing, collating and quality assuring information for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to contribute to achievement of the project outcomes and identification of emerging issues.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a similar program support role
- Strong organisational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in coordinating meetings, committees and working groups including production of agendas, minutes and managing records.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and to an intermediate or advanced level
- Advanced computing skills in following packages: Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of at least one contemporary project management methodology e.g. Prince 2, PMBOK, Agile.
