Eldercare's Day Therapy Centre delivers outstanding care to clients in the local community requiring therapy services. As a part of our commitment to continual improvement, Eldercare is introducing this new position.
The Client Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service through liaison with existing and prospective Day Therapy Centre clients. You will ensure accurate and prompt processing of enquiries and referrals. This includes establishing service objectives with each new client, creating new client files, and managing the service wait list.
We are seeking a permanent, part-time Client Coordinator to join our large multidisciplinary team. Reporting directly to the Day Therapy Centre Manager, you will be working alongside Customer Service Assistants and members of our therapy team. Your role will also include some data management, processing client discharges and occasional service quality activities including auditing of client files.
Previous experience in a Health, Community Service or Aged Care environment is preferable, with existing knowledge of health practices and medical terminology.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma of Nursing, Certificate of Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
- Have customer service skills and experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Show respect to all people and maintain confidentiality
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
