RESIDENT MOBILITY ASSISTANTS - Assist our residents with their mobility requirements
- Located at Goodwood - New Residential Aged Care site opening in 2025
- Shifts are Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00

At Eldercare, we know that older people in our care want to remain as healthy and independent as possible. The Resident Mobility Assistant is a new role in Eldercare that will work closely with our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Wellbeing Consultants to support the mobility and activity of our residents.
You will assist residents to participate in exercise and physical activity, and achieve reablement goals. You will spend 1:1 time with residents helping them to access spaces within the facility, including outdoors. You will support residents to participate in events and activities, and engage in important social connection.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have existing working rights in Australia
- Possess a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, Health & Leisure or Ageing Support or Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- A genuine passion to provide care that is person-centered
- The ability to work individually and in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents and staff

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
