Chef Manager - The Lodge

About the role

• Leading Age Care Provider in SA
• Conveniently located in Wayville with onsite parking
• Permanent Full Time Position - Monday - Friday
• Utilise both your hospitality and people management skills in this diverse role 

As part of the leadership team at this site, you will report directly to the Site Operations Manager. You will have overall responsibility for Hospitality Services including food services, cleaning and laundry.

In this management (off the tools) position you will use your technical expertise, leadership skills and commitment to optimal work practices to deliver best practice Hospitality services and continuous improvement.

You will use proven systems and workflows across food safety, menu development, catering for function events, modified diets, purchasing and workforce management to ensure services are delivered which are compliant with regulatory standards and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience in a complex aged care or healthcare environment
• Hold qualifications in Hospitality Management or Commercial Cookery
  
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Be committed to delivering person-centred care
• Demonstrated team management, development and leadership
• Be passionate about delivering high quality food
• Demonstrated cost management with focus on food and labour costs
