Eldercare is seeking a part time Maintenance Officer (Property Services Officer) 3 days week to provide essential professional maintenance services across Eldercare's residential aged care facilities and Retirement Living units at Minlaton and Maitland.
The Role
- Provide excellent customer service to our residents, staff, and visitors
- Work as part of a small local and larger state-based property team
- Carry out a variety of hands-on duties across our two Yorke Peninsula sites
- Carry out a variety of hands on programmed and reactive maintenance duties including gardening, painting, minor plumbing and building repairs
- Electrical Testing and Tagging (Training will be provided)
- Minor repairs to wheelchairs, beds, and various resident equipment
- Assist in overseeing compliance relating to fire safety and accreditation
- Supervise external contractors and ensure quality service and compliance from them
About You
- Previous, relevant experience
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills and able to prioritise work
- A pleasant, friendly, and helpful approach with a positive and can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships
- Current Driver's Licence
- Basic Computer Skills

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
