Eldercare has a key leadership vacancy available for a Site Operations Manager for our brand new state of the art site, located in the inner city suburb of Goodwood. Reporting to the General Manager Residential Care, The Site Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the provision of quality person-centred care, services and programs at the site while maintaining efficient use of resources and legislative compliance.  Well supported by a Clinical Care Manager, senior Registered Nurses and professional multi-disciplinary leaders, and with strong head office infrastructure and support, the Site Operations Manager will lead a team of over 150 staff delivering services to 100 residents. The site is bespoke and accommodates residents in both general residential aged care and a dedicated Memory Support Unit.

The Site Operations Manager that Eldercare is seeking will have a strong background in managing a variety of functions within an aged care setting including quality of care, clinical outcomes, human resource management, financial results, hospitality services and employee and consumer engagement. 

Essential to the success of this role will be the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders including residents, families, site staff, and other Eldercare staff.  Sound business acumen and the ability to closely manage budgets and KPIs will be essential to success in this role, as will a sound understanding and knowledge of current and emerging issues affecting the aged care sector applicable to the site.

To be successful in this role, you will hold both AHPRA registration as a health professional and formal leadership qualifications, allowing you to bring a system focus while maintaining a clinical perspective. Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead and mentor a team and drive continuous improvement, will be required. You will also bring current knowledge of the legislative and compliance framework within which residential aged care services operate, aged care funding models, and an understanding of the challenges relevant to the industry.
