An opportunity has become available for an IT Data Analyst located at our Head Office in Eastwood, South Australia for a 12 month full time contract.

Eldercare has embarked on a digital transformation project connecting multiple source systems to an Azure data analytics platform to drive scalability, process automation and Power BI dashboard reporting.

You will be involved in data ETL, process automations, data modelling & analysis, reports, and dashboards to support business operations throughout the company.

About the Role:

  • Brand new data warehouse
  • Automation will be key
  • Be a key member of the Data & Analytics Team
  • Based at our Head Office in Eastwood
  • Full-time fixed term contract (12 months)
  • Flexible working arrangements

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a data role such as Data Analytics, Report Writing (PowerBI, Tableau, etc), Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, etc
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in ETL and data analysis.
  • Proficient with SQL and Power BI (or Tableau).
  • Experience with Azure ADF, Azure Synapse, Databricks or similar products.
  • Extensive experience working directly with users to understand their requirements and efficiently building dashboards and reports through data modelling and visual design.
  • Prior experience in calling REST APIs and interrogating API responses (desirable).
  • Understanding of Data Governance principles and practices (desirable).
  • Knowledge of machine learning (desirable).

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
