Eldercare has a rare opportunity for a Part Time Physiotherapist

Eldercare has recently implemented a new Allied Health service model across our sites. With a focus on restoring function and enabling independence, you will work with our residents to pursue aspirational goals during this exciting period of change.

We are currently seeking a Part Time Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team. This role will offer exposure to a broad clinical landscape, within a contemporary aged care framework. You will use your professional judgement and the belief in our residents’ potential, to achieve unique outcomes.

Your role will see you conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop creative treatment plans, offer one-on-one and group-based interventions. At your disposal will be dedicated treatment space and rehabilitation equipment within our residential care site.

Working closely with a large multidisciplinary team, you will also be supported by an experienced Allied Health Team Leader. Regular face-to-face supervision and adhoc support will allow you to excel in your role, and to develop your career. You will also contribute to exciting service development initiatives as we continue to introduce best-practice Physiotherapy interventions.

 To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be committed to delivering person-centred care
• Have a full SA driver's license

Previous experience in an Aged Care environment is desirable, but recent graduates seeking a career in Aged Care would be very welcome.

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
